TBN
Peer Support & Discussion Meetings

Who we are

The Toronto Bi+ Network's mandate is to provide a community where bisexuals, pansexuals, omni, 2 spirit, fluid, queer and people questioning their sexuality can share diverse perspectives on bi+ issues and experiences.

We offer support, a social network, information and referrals. We provide support by welcoming people into a bi+ community and creating non-judgmental spaces to share feelings, experiences and fears. We affirm different ways of developing identity and the diversity of people's life experiences. As well, we engage in outreach, advocacy and education around bi+ and queer issues.

The Toronto Bi+ Network also acts as an umbrella group for two gender-specific groups for bi+ folk - Bi+ Women of Toronto and Bi+ Men of Toronto.

Monthly Peer
Support and Discussion Meetings

The Toronto Bi+ Network holds its all-gender peer support and discussion meeting on the third Thursday of each month from 7-8:30 pm at the 519 Church Street Community Centre.

The meetings involve discussion on topics brought up by those in attendance,

and often include:

- relationships

- safer sex

- our place within the larger queer community

- biphobia

- coming out

- the meaning of bisexuality, pansexuality and sexual fluidity

- and more!

In order to create a safe space,

confidentiality is emphasized.

Afterwards, there is an opportunity for informal social time at a nearby restaurant or bar.
