We're here, we're Queer now buy me a Beer! Come have a brew with us as we celebrate our new gathering and new meeting place. We have a dedicated space for us to do want with. This group gathers monthly (on the last Sunday of the month) at the Victory Cafe and is mostly populated by young queers in their 20s and 30s (all ages are welcome!). We are open to all LGBTQQ's, Random Queers, Ethical non-monogamists, people practising polyamory, and their closest allies. We believe in creating a safe space for attendees. Although a casual space we try to observe a non-violent communication style and a comfortable relaxed atmosphere of non-harassment. A zero tolerance policy against harassment, mean-spiritedness, intolerance for others, disrespect and attacks on a persons dignity, race, sexual orientation, core values or ability. Some of these are firm "foundations" born to us from traditional "safe space" values of the LGBTQQ community. We sample the Victory Cafe's large selection of beers, wines and spirits and their great menu items while chatting and meeting great people from various overlapping communities. There will be a huge selection of board games and card games available for those who wanna play them and fun "getting to know you" icebreakers for those of that have trouble starting conversations. It's casual fun, bring a guest or just yourself.
