Here is a look at what's happening in December: Monday, December 3, 2007 - Aging at Home and Aging in Place are new buzz words used by government to realign services and programs for seniors. The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care is planning a new strategy around Aging at Home. To help it happen the Central Toronto Local Health Initiative Network (LHIN) is devising a strategy. The LINH wants to hear from groups of seniors whose voices are not usually heard. We will meet to consider some questions and provide input on using this new strategy to create innovations to programs as well as to support and enhance existing home/community services. Monday, December 10, 2007 - Rui Pires, Gay Men's Community Education Coordinator at the AIDS Committee of Toronto will be with us to commemorate World AIDS Day with a multi media presentation on the recent international conference and talk about what has happened since.
